PHANES NEUROTECHNOLOGY / UNITED KINGDOM

Make humanity more.

Phanes Neurotechnology is an early-stage UK venture exploring how better understanding of the nervous system can expand what people can do. Our lead programme is Sentinel, a clinical EEG system in development.

Our focus

We begin with practical questions about continuous EEG: how a headset is fitted, how signal quality is checked, how clinicians review a recording and how responsibility moves between people on a ward.

Sentinel brings those questions into a proposed headset and station. VITAL is a distinct programme exploring physiological sensing and individual context. Touch explores prosthetics and sensory feedback; Lucid is a longer-term hearing-restoration research direction. Daughter is our proposed shared software environment for records and follow-up.

Our development approach

We aim to test assumptions early, design with clinical use in mind and evaluate performance on our own hardware. Usability, the quality of the underlying signals and the evidence behind an interpretation are all part of that work.

Concept visuals and simulated workflows help explain what we are exploring. They are not clinical evidence. Prototype validation and regulatory assessment remain milestones ahead of us.

Learning through DOWS

DOWS brings Demos, Overviews, Walkthroughs and Scenarios into a protected onboarding environment. It lets visitors explore proposed Sentinel workflows using fictional patient episodes, alongside a separately attributed research EEG excerpt.

The demo supports discussion about workflow and usability. It does not certify clinical competence or establish product performance.
